The Penguin is a hand-built, bronze fastened Mahogany boat that is
encapsulated in two coats of epoxy resin before it receives fairing,
priming and finish. The finish consists of 4 coats of Awlgrip catalytic
topside paint on the hull and 10 coats of Awlgrip catalytic varnish on the
natural mahogany.
